1. Who we are
Company Intelligence is a UK-based B2B intelligence platform. References to "we", "us" or "our" refer to Company Intelligence. For data protection queries, contact us at privacy@company-intelligence.co.uk.
2. What data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, password (hashed by Supabase), chosen subscription tier.
- Billing data — processed by Stripe; we store only a Stripe Customer ID, not card details.
- Usage data — which companies you view, features you use, AI queries submitted.
- Technical data — IP address (used only for rate limiting), browser type, session tokens.
3. Why we collect it
- To provide the service and manage your subscription (contractual necessity).
- To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits (legitimate interest).
- To improve the product through anonymised usage analytics (legitimate interest).
4. Who we share data with
- Supabase — authentication and user metadata storage (EU/US processors).
- Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
- Google Cloud — AI inference via Gemini API.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
5. Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise any right, email privacy@company-intelligence.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised usage data may be retained indefinitely.
7. Cookies
We use only functional cookies (session tokens stored in localStorage). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated by email and updated on this page.
